Let us entice you to a week of respite, renewal, and learning on the magical island of Jamaica where we have been gathering with colleagues from around the world for over 25 years. Every time is its own special event, with enriching workshops, informative talks, and friendly camaraderie. This year we are being welcomed back to the spacious grounds, stunning ocean views, and scenic private beach at Frenchman’s Cove Resort in Port Antonio, on the northern coast of the island, away from the tourist hubs, and nestled in the tropical rainforest.
Program
The program is self-organizing, meeting from 9 to 1 PM each day. Participants bring their expertise and curiosity as we share ideas, practices, and fun in our open-air meeting space, and then go to lunch at the beach and spend the rest of the day either soaking up the sun and swimming or exploring local adventures or pursuing our interests in small discussion groups.
While it is based in transactional analysis, prior knowledge is not required, nor are we limited to TA topics. It is always richer and more stimulating than we imagine as the week unfolds and our community bonds.
Dates: February 19th to 26th. The 19th is our arrival day and we begin meeting on Monday the 20th. Sunday the 26th is departure day, though if you want to come early or stay a few extra days that can be arranged for an additional fee.
Continuing Education Credit: We administer paperwork so that participants can apply to their authorizing agency for credit. If you are not sure what documentation will be required or whether the credits will count, please check with your licensing authority ahead of time. We will provide certificates of attendance and a log for the workshops you attend.
Meals: A continental breakfast will be provided in the Great House, where we will also be meeting. One group dinner is included in the fee. The rest of the meals are on your own.
Lodging: There are a variety of options. The Great House is in a garden setting and is where we have breakfast and hold our meetings. There are rooms on the second floor and small suites on the first floor. The villas have one, two, or three bedrooms, each of which has its own bathroom with shower. Most of the villas have ocean views. All have kitchenettes.
Cost: Conference and lodging fees are combined. Early registration prices are shown. Add $100 person after December 1, 2022. Full registration deadline is January 15, 2023, subject to availability. Fees are in US dollars and are per person. $200 nonrefundable deposit is due with registration to hold your space. The balance is due by January 15, 2023. All but $100 can be refunded if the request is received by January 15.
Villas are spread around the property with lighted walking paths. All the villas have wi-fi. The property is gated and has 24-hour security.
