Cassandra currently works with adults providing individual, couple, family and group treatment. Her expertise includes: Major Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety Disorders (including Panic Disorder, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder and Phobias), Marital, Couple, Family and Blended Family issues; as well as everyday adjustment issues such as Stress Management, Life Transitions, Grief and Loss Issues, Communication, Self Esteem Building and Personal Growth. Cassandra’s primary therapeutic approach is the use of Redecision therapy, with which she integrates the approaches of Transactional Analysis, Gestalt, Object Relations, Systems Theory, Developmental Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy and Personality Adaptations. Cassandra works with clients to negotiate a clear contract about the changes they want to make as a result of therapy and then develops a treatment plan that utilizes the modalities of therapy best suited to meet their needs.
