Administration Committee: Our purpose is the day-to-day workings of the organization. Broad objectives include: running elections and reporting financial documents for the council; managing mailing and member lists; consulting with outside vendors; and keeping the terms of office up to date.
Communications Committee: Our purpose is to be the conduit of relevant information from Coordinating Council to members and the greater community. Our broad objectives are facilitating written, verbal, and visual connections between members internally, and between the organization and the public.
Education Committee: Our purpose is to support the broad scope of learning and applying TA. Our broad objectives include: setting and monitoring standards in training, supervision, and certification; and hosting workshops in collaboration with other committees.
General Coordinator: The role’s purpose is to make sure the committees and other functions of NATAA are kept moving when the Council and the NATAA general membership is not meeting. Broad objectives include convening and facilitating meetings of the Coordinating Council, and of the General Membership of NATAA.
Marketing Committee: Our purpose is to increase public and professional awareness of NATAA and our members. Broad objectives include developing outbound communications, recruiting members, marketing educational programs, soliciting and managing resources.
Membership Committee: Our purpose is to grow membership and promote member engagement. Broad objectives include addressing member input, wants, needs, and concerns, and keeping members Involved and informed about NATAA operations.
Program Committee: Our purpose is to provide professional-quality support for educational programs and conferences. Broad objectives include sponsoring the Jamaica Gathering, soliciting, and contracting with outside resources, and ensuring successful programs.
Structure & Function Committee: Our purpose is to ensure inclusion of members in the running of the association and collaboration of committees in meeting the association’s mission and goals. Broad objectives include meeting periodically to review the operations of the association.
TA Practitioner Certification Committee: Our purpose is to promote and conduct certification. Broad objectives include publishing clear information about TAP Certification, managing the online certification process, keeping accurate records of certifications, answering questions, and promoting certification as a valuable achievement.
